As a teacher and a student I have used the snot out of this bag for 2 years. It has done more than I have asked time and time again, and i love the functionality. The laptop portion is nice and padded, and I don't feel the need to use an additional laptop case for my macbook. Its got interior pockets to hold all my adaptors and accessories, and I LOVE the water bottle pocket on the outside. The pencil pocket on the front are great, and the magentic closure is so secure that I never even had to worry about zipping up the interior compartment. When this bag finally wears out (not any time soon!) I will definitely replace it with another Keen Alameda. I also have a keen purse and a wallet that I purchased 2 years ago and they too seem to be nearly indestructible. After 2 years this bag hardly looks worn, yet was used nearly everyday between lugging to the library and to school every day.

I found this to be a great bag, especially for traveling with my laptop. It really holds a lot and has really great compartments in the front zipper pocket that work great for holding my phone and accessories.

I love this bag. I use it for work. It is light weight. And it is large enough to hold my lunch, laptop, wallet, a sweater, and maybe a couple of kids toys if I have to throw something in there really quick. I am very pleased with the purchase.
