Overall great thermos. Able to put in top rack of dishwasher which is great. The only problem I've had with it is that if you twist the black cap on too tight then it will leak. But once I learned how much to tighten it I haven't had a problem. Keeps things hot for hours. Also a very nice design. I highly recommend this.

Love these usually buy the hydration bottle model that's without the straw style. Love them and are the same size ounce wise as this thermos. But they only keep liquids hot for 6 hours and cold for 12. So there are times it would be nice to have a back up hot after 6 hours and this well work for that. And more likely well pour contents into the hydration double walled thermos bottle to drink from it as a travel style bottle. No spill...oh and if for some reason you do suddenly have leaking from any of the thermos bottles...they come with rubber like gaskets that if they are lost...such as come off in a dishwasher or down a drain or you didn't notice it fall off at some time....contact Thermos on line they have replacements. They may charge you but it's better than throwing away the container. Also if you are humble they may even be willing to ship you a one time only free cap to replace your damaged or lost one. Overall....I love my thermos hydration bottles and this small thermos.
Now why is this double walled stainless thermos better to keep things hot or cold longer than the double walled hydration model...maybe they have a foam insulation in side between the walls. If so I may be checking out if I can open the hydration bottles to insert some closed cell foam sheeting in the gap there too. I had wash all my bottles. Occasionally add a dash of bleach to your bottle to keep it germ free. I have one that has a rougher than usual texture to the stainless...not as polished as smooth as most seem to come...and found out just rinsing even with soap and water daily was not enough. I had to use a brush and scrub at it to keep it clean. So since I also once a week soak the bottles in use with a dash of bleach for an hour or so or while I do the rest of the dishes up then I finish cleaning it with the brush and soap. I check every time to make sure the gasket is still on the cap. Never have a leak if I screw the cap on correct and tight enough.
Love this item as near as it gets. Now bring us a pretty deep green...brown is my favorite color...green is my next...dark moody ones not the neon or spring colors....the mossy and cool earthy ones. Just wishful thinking outloud.

This is our third thermos in this style. The Henna design is really attractive. What I love about this thermos is that it is not breakable, not having a glass lining; yet it keeps beverages quite hot for several hours. We fill them with hot tea or hot coffee in the morning, and they keep our drinks at a perfect temperature for a pre-lunch pick-me-up. Also, the pour spout design is very clever. You unscrew the inner lid partially, then can pour beverage, and it doesn't dribble.
